Even Mathematics needs a vacation!

Yes, H3 is having a few days on vacation, which reminds us of some great Math activities to do while heading away on vacation. Click on the following image to check out a host of fun Math travel vacation acitivites to do while you are travelling to that favorite destination, etc.
vacation1Even H3 was doing some calculations while onboard this little speedboat – changing the speedo reading from km/hr into knots. Go figure! So, H3 might not post for a few days now, but will still be quietly searching for something mathematical to follow after vacation!

PS: The pic above was taken on Lake Taupo, New Zealand. “Lake Taupo has a surface area of 616 square kilometres (238 sq mi) and a perimeter of approximately 193 kilometres, with a deepest point of 186 metres.” (source: wikipedia.org). It was formed by some of the most violent volcanic explosions ever and still has many thermal areas in and around the lake.
